12 week old male GSD sale/trade - Price: $250 obo in Elizabethtown, Illinois

I have a 12 week old male bi-color (black with tan markings) CKC German Shepherd puppy. He isn't fitting into our home like we had hoped he would. He's pretty shy around new people and takes him a while to warm up to people. We were hoping he would be more outgoing than what he is,  which is why we are deciding to place him in a home that has a lot of time and love to devote to just him. He is UTD on shots and dewormings and I have his medical record on hand that will go with him, along with any remaining puppy food that he has left. I would prefer to trade him to an older male purebred German Shepherd. No older than 3 years old and no younger than 16 weeks and preferrably something pretty outgoing and friendly. Doesn't have to have papers, but would be a plus. I'm asking $250 negotiable for him if I sell him outright, but would prefer to do a trade scenario. Serious people only, please.
